Annual General Meeting

An AGM is held on the first Wednesday in June and is followed by a lecture. The AGM alternates between mornings and afternoons. There is only one lecture on these occasions.

The Committee is elected annually and consists of the following officials:

    •  Study Days Organiser   studydays@rlsdfas.org.uk
    •  Volunteers Organiser   volunteers@rlsdfas.org.uk
    •  Young Arts Co-ordinator   youngarts@rlsdfas.org.uk

All members of the committee are registered with the Charity Commission as Trustees of the Society.

The Society also appoints a President, Vice-President and Honorary Members in recognition of their contribution to the organisation but they are not members of the Society's Committee.

The Society was registered as a Charity on 9th March 2004. Its registration number is 1102548. It is affiliated to the The National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS) a company limited by guarantee and also a registered charity.

The Annual Report of the Trustees of RLSDFAS is published each year and submitted to the Charity Commission. The financial year ends of 31st March.

RLSDFAS is part of the West Midlands area of NADFAS. Officials from the fifteen societies in our area meet two or three times a year for the exchange of ideas and mutual support. The Area also runs Study Days and Courses, to which all members are invited.

All members of RLSDFAS receive a copy of NADFAS Review through the post. This is a quarterly magazine containing arts-related articles, information about forthcoming exhibitions and news of NADFAS activities around the country.
