Welcome to RLSDFAS which was formed in October 1993 to promote appreciation of the fine and decorative arts. We have a lively and extensive programme of lectures, study days, day visits and short breaks for our 620 members. Click the menu options to the left to see more details. The Society has charitable status and is run by a volunteer committee elected at the Annual General Meeting.

- Lectures are held in the Avon Hall at the Royal Spa Centre, Leamington Spa, () on the first Wednesday of the month (except August, September, and January). Refreshments are available in the foyer from 10 a.m. for Morning members and from 1.00 p.m. for Afternoon members. If you wish to use the hearing loop facility please collect a headset from reception. Lectures start at 11.00 a.m. for Morning members and 2.00 p.m. for Afternoon members. Members should be in their seats by 10.55 a.m. and 1.55 p.m. There are generally some announcements before the lecture. Sessions usually finish by 12.15 p.m. and 3.15 p.m.
- Members are asked to register on arrival by giving the number on their Membership Card to the Membership Secretary.
- Members are welcome to bring Guests to a lecture, but the same guest may only attend two lectures each season. Guests will be asked to sign the Visitors Book upon arrival.
Tickets
- Tickets for Study Days, Day Visits, Short Breaks and other events are on sale at Lecture Meetings, from 10.00 a.m. and from 1.00 p.m. before lectures.
- Tickets are paid for by cheque (NOT cash) at the time of purchase.
- Members may buy an additional ticket for another member for Visits and Study Days.
- Members may buy an additional ticket for a non-member for a Social Event space permitting.
- Waiting lists are maintained.
- Refunds cannot be made unless your ticket is resold.
Other information
- Annual Support of a concert by Leamington Music for which concessionary tickets are available to members.
- A Dinner is normally held biennially. ().
- A New Members' Get–Together is usually held in September for those who have joined during the previous twelve months. ()
- A lunch for volunteers is held biennially. ()
- A Noticeboard is on view in the foyer to inform members about future events.
- Members are encouraged to put forward ideas and comments which will then be discussed by the Committee.
